Funeral Celebrant Training

Congratulations on taking the first step on your journey to becoming a Professional Funeral Celebrant.

The number of Australians aged 85 years and over is expected to double to more than 1 million people by 2042 thus leading to an unprecedented increase in the services of Funeral and Death Care Professionals including FUNERAL CELEBRANTS.

As a professional Funeral Celebrant, YOU can build a financially and emotionally rewarding business working the days, hours and locations that suit YOU.

In Australia, unlike marriage celebrants, funeral celebrants do not legally need to hold a recognised qualification.

With this in mind, it is imperative that aspiring Funeral Celebrants be properly equipped with the knowledge, skills and tools to undertake their role professionally and appropriately.

A funeral is NOT like any other ceremony or event. There are no rehearsals, no room for mistakes or oversights and no place for inexperienced, ill-prepared or apprehensive officiants.

Learn from a working Funeral Professional what it takes to create and sustain a career in Funeral Celebrancy from someone who deals at the coal face day in and day out, experiencing all of the highs and lows of working in the extraordinary environment that is Death Care and Funerals.

Allow yourself to be guided by a highly skilled professional Funeral Celebrant who will share their incredibly valuable experience and finely-tuned course content with YOU – so that you succeed in becoming the best Funeral Celebrant you can be!

NOT 100% CERTAIN IF THIS IS THE RIGHT ROLE FOR YOU?  FIND OUT BEFORE COMMITTING TO TRAINING.

The Complete Guide to Becoming a Funeral Celebrant in Australia is your essential first step in deciding whether this meaningful profession is right for you.
