Our Testimonials
Rachael's funeral celebrancy weekend training course was brilliant! Lots of practical and very helpful information from such an experienced celebrant was well worth the investment in myself and my business. Thanks Rachael for sharing your hard earned knowledge and insights, and for your support!
This weekend my excitement was equally matched by the enthusiasm and support of the teaching and mentoring from Rachael Angus in how to give a genuine, meaningful and heartfelt funeral service.
Its one thing to have book smarts, its another thing to have tried, tested and proven ways of dealing with grieving families in tough and sometimes super awkward situations. What I have learnt first hand from the beautiful Rachael has been invaluable.
After leading a few Funeral services in addition to officiating weddings, knowing I have a passion for people; “doing funerals” is a part of the industry that is so important to get right for the sake of those who are grieving. Constantly learning, growing, adapting and evolving is essential. So my warmest of thank yous go out to Rachael for her open and honest first hand experience teachings. It is always an honour to be asked to conduct a funeral and I can only hope to emulate the respect, dignity and love you have taught me this weekend.

I attended both days of the course along with 8 other students. Rachael shared her incredible experience in a detailed and candid fashion and with a passion that exemplifies her long and successful career. She is a rock-star of the industry and I recommend this course to anyone looking for a proper, honest and practical start to their celebrant career. Do yourself a favour and do the course with Rachael. After two days of training, if you have the aptitude and desire, you will walk away with the tools to take the next exciting step.
Rachael ran a great bootcamp. I learned a lot of very useful information and legitimately feel well equipped to pursue a career in funeral celebrancy. There was no fluff or filler. Just lots of tips, pointers, knowledge and encouragement from someone who is clearly very good at what she does. Other than that it was fun, fulfilling and well catered. Thank you Rachael.
I highly recommend Rachael and her funeral celebrant course. Rachael shared so much of her vast experience, knowledge and real life tips. She answered all our questions and didn't hold back on anything.
As a marriage celebrant with no funeral experience, I learnt so much and now feel confident to progress as a funeral celebrant. I also chose to travel from Southern NSW for the course and experience and it was definitely worth it! Thank you Rachael!
